TRAINING TO BE PREPARED FOR WHAT LIFE THROWS YOUR WAY...

The KEYSTONE CHALLENGE tests the squads in the following:
Team Movements, Firearms, First Aid, Knotcraft, Navigation, Stamina, and Survival.
IMPORTANT: Only 8 members from each squad will be able to competeā¦so pick your very best members!!!
TRAINING: The process of learning skills needed for a particular job or function.
The beauty of the KEYSTONE CHALLENGE is it's goal of bringing individuals of varying skill levels together to create a extremely well-trained unified group...be they (initially) strangers living in a geographic area, family members, friends, hunting camps, or even work groups. Not only does training for KEYSTONE CHALLENGE teach every individual squad member valuable "survival" skills, it also teaches individuals how to work more effectively and efficiently within an organized group...it's a GREAT "team building" experience!
COMPETITION: The activity of striving to gain, or win, something by defeating others.
Yeah...NO participation trophies handed out here! Sorry...but we train and compete to WIN!!! Winning means you have to best your opponent. That being said...in KEYSTONE CHALLENGE...everyone who competes DOES win. How? Well...if you learned something during training for the competition...doesn't that count as a win? If you learned how to splint a fractured leg during squad first aid training, and one day while hiking with your family one of you suffers from a fractured ankle and you're able to split the limb and transport to a hospital...that certainly counts as a win!
If you'd like to participate in any of our events, please see the CONTACT page for information on talking to one of the organizers.
